On Tuesday (08/10/2024) afternoon at around 15:15, the team were contacted by Lancashire Police to assist with a search for a high-risk missing person in the Sabden/Padiham area.
Team members were deployed to the area for approximately 4 hours, with further volunteers joining throughout the afternoon/evening as they became available.
Having completed searches of the tasked areas at approximately 19:30, the team stood down from the incident. The police have since confirmed that the missing person has been found safe and well.
