CALLOUT 46

 

Yesterday (~14:15 10/7/25), the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) once more requested assistance from the team; this time to Scout Moor Wind Farm, where a casualty had been reported to have taken a fall and suffered an ankle and shoulder injury.

 

Whilst the team had been deployed and were making their way to the location, we were advised the casualty had been assisted by someone working on the turbines and was in a vehicle and on their way off the hillside, with the plan to then be making their way to the hospital. As such, the team stood down from the incident.

 

As ever, we wish them a speedy recovery and wish to thank the worker who assisted the casualty and got them off the hill and on their way tothe  hospital.
