CALL OUT 14 (STANDBY) – Call to assist Lancashire PoliceFebruary 29, 2020
CALL OUT 13
Today the team have been out to assist NWAS PTS (patient transport service) with a patient who couldn’t be reached due to the snow on higher ground.
The team mobilised our Hilux vehicle this morning to move the casualty to where they could be transferred over to PTS and we were again called later in the day for the return journey.
The Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team is a fully voluntary organisation which responds to those in need in our local community. The Team is on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and relies entirely on donations from members of the public to carry out this essential life-saving rescue service.
