Specialist equipment
Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team utilise a selection of specialist rescue equipment within our duties. These include a fleet of off-road capable vehicles, including 4x4's, ATV's, an Incident Support Unit and even they're soon to be joined by an All Terrain Ambulance. These vehicles host a whole range of specialist search, rescue and medical equipment to ensure that we're ready for anything.
All of our equipment is purchased and maintained with money from our fundraising efforts and kind donations from members of the public. It costs around £35,000 per year to stay operational, so we really do appreciate all the support given by our local community.
