CALLOUT 53
The team were contacted yesterday afternoon (13:06 6/6/21) by Lancashire Police with regards to assisting in the search for a missing gentleman. Throughout the afternoon our team’s volunteers searched multiple areas around Blackburn and stood down after several hours of searches. Team members then returned to their weekend plans and the team vehicles returned back at our Burnley base finally standing down at approximately 18:00.
Later in the evening the team received an update from the police they had discovered a body and this is believed to be this missing gentleman. A very sad outcome and our thoughts go out to the gentleman’s family and friends at this time.
