CALLOUT 59
The team were deployed yesterday afternoon (6/7/21) to assist Lancashire police with an ongoing incident for a missing person, Paul Grady, 59, in the Rossendale area.
The team was mobilised along with assistance from Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and also Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England (MRSDE) whilst working alongside the police and Lancashire fire and rescue too.
As always the dedication of all these selfless volunteers for being on call, and offer assistance no matter the weather!
A special shout to dog handler Damian with dog Skye (and technician Stewart) for coming over from Cheshire! Skye had a huge impact on the search and with a positive trial has assisted officers to an alternative line of enquiries at this time. Ultimately meaning the team were stood down rather than searching on into the night.
Paul has since been found safe and well by the Police.
