CALLOUT 34
In the early hours of this morning (20/03/21), the team received a request from the North West Ambulance Service to assist with the extraction of a casualty from some woodlands in the Briercliffe area of Burnley.
The team was deployed shortly after 00:30 and whilst 10 team members and the teamβs vehicle was en route we received word that the ambulance crew along with the RRV (rapid response vehicle) had been able to relocate and gain access much closer to the casualty, and thus were able to extract them without needing further assistance from the team. The team were stood down around 01:00.
