CALLOUT 62
The team were called out at 20:30 to assist the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust with a farm vehicle accident near Delf Hill.
As details became clear it was an ATV in the off-road quarry which had a serious crash. NWAS, NWAA, FIRE and POLICE were all on the scene too.
One casualty was extracted from the vehicle by the fire brigade and dealt with by NWAA before being flown to hospital, Team paramedics assisted with treating the other casualty who has multiple injuries before they were extracted on the team stretched and then conveyed in the team vehicle to be handed over to ambulance for onward transport to the hospital.
It was another busy day for the team today as members’ were at an event this Morning at Peel Tower, Holcombe and assisted with an RTC between a motorbike and cyclist until the ambulance crews arrived.
