Throughout lockdown we had taken the difficult decision not to post about ongoing call outs due to some of the negative responses they may have caused – we wanted to reinforce positivity throughout the community in this difficult time.
As lockdown is now easing we are taking steps to encourage people to come back to the outdoors and their activities in a suitable and sensible manner – both following government guidelines as well staying within personal capabilities to minimise risks.
We are delighted to say that we have had a significantly lower number of call outs than the same period last year (17 in 2019, 5 in 2020).
Casualty Related Incidents: 2
Moorland Fires: 2
Police Incidents: 1
To all of our supporters and those about in our local communities thank you, and please continue to follow the government guidelines and stay safe.
