Around 13:30 on Monday the 22nd Nov, the team were called out by North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust to reports of a teenager having had a mountain bike accident in or near Lee Quarry, near Bacup.
A paramedic was on scene and worked with the team to treat, package and transfer the young man to the land ambulance.
The team wish him a speedy recovery.
Remember Lee Quarry is a graded mountain bike quarry with occasional drops and surprises if you don’t know it well. If you do go up there please make sure you have the proper protection and ride routes within your skill ability as well as taking appropriate equipment with you too.
